So, funny story behind this.
I intended for there to be like a shadow monster that spread out and surrounded her when I first started it. But try as I might I couldn't decide what I wanted it to look like.
In the end I decided what I wanted to express was an internal problem rather than anything that could be depicted as an external one. Internal problems are far scarier in my opinion, because they usually don't escape, and tear their host apart from the inside instead.
So yes, I have problems, but I am the cause of every single one of them...

Interesting introspective--literally. I really like your black-and-white works, as they focus one's eyes on the details of the art's linework and shape/form...and especially the emotional responses they evoke. I'll say I've been there, done that with the feeling of 'bleeding' from the inside out, like no one else can see what I'm feeling/thinking or the invisible scars that are left behind from some of my life's experiences. Some days, it's more a battle than others...but I don't know how to 'stop' or 'quit'. I keep on going because that's what I do. I try to take care of myself and be kinder to myself on the bad days and deal with it all as best I can, even if that's just one day at a time.
