Description
Wanted a non depressing image of Tabby... she's usually a super sweet character.
Experimenting with backgrounds mostly. This actually didn't take very long, but I'm thinking maybe too long for a comic.
It's gotten to the point that I make between 5-10 brushes per illustration these days. But I had the background blocked out in about 20 mins so. It must be worth it. (Actual shading took another 2.5+ hours)

I know it's already been said, but this background is just stunningly gorgeous! All the different shades of green coupled by the lighting makes this look so wonderful. The texture look of the tree bark and moss is blowing my mind, too. The moss looks so soft! ;o; I seriously don't even know what else to say other than nice work, man! <3
